The Yellow Serpent is a beast that can only be controlled by having the mark of the Sky Wave which is an adapted mark by the Sacred Anvil. The Yellow Serpent can speak with you and you to it. You can also communicate through the Yellow Serpent to other Serpents. The Yellow Serpent can also fly in the sky without any wings. It is also said that the Yellow Serpent has lightning powers. Jabin of House Steelclad used to behold the mark of the Sky Wave to control this beast, but after his untimely death saving members of the Assassin's Guild, Jabin and his Yellow Serpent is no more.
